Star Wars: A New Hope

Star Wars Episode 4: A New Hope is the first film in the original trilogy. The film is set 32 years after the events of The Phantom Menace and follows the adventures of Luke Skywalker as he is taken under the wing of Jedi Master obi-Wan Kenobi. The film follows the Jedi as they try to stop the Galactic Empire. The film also introduces us to the Sith Lord Darth vader who is the main antagonist of the film.

The film features the first appearance of the Death Star, the Empire's ultimate weapon of destruction. The film builds up to the climactic battle between the rebels and the Empire on the Death Star. The rebels manage to destroy the Death Star and the Empire is defeated due to the rebels having the plans to the Death Star which were stolen.

Star Wars Episode 5: The Empire Strikes Back is the second film in the original trilogy.
