Since joining Siena in 2002, I have focused on improving Computer Science & Information Systems education through the use of web technology. I am Vice President of EDSIG for 2019. I currently do research in Applied Machine Learning and previously in algorithm design for intractable problems. Most recently, I have taught Intro to Exploratory Data Analysis & Visualization, Web Application Development and Management Information Systems I have also taught Introduction to Programming in Java, Machine Learning, Analysis of Algorithms, Data Structures Theory of Computation and Web Design.
I am always free to meet during office hours, but you can also schedule an appointment from 8am - 3:30pm when I am not in class. I must often attend meetings during free period and the hour before, but I may be free during these times, so please ask. I am rarely free after 3:30pm.
