Details
Over the years, thousands of high school students, mostly from area high schools, have participated in the contest. Working in small teams on a challenging set of problems for several hours, students have tested their programming skills and problem solving abilities.
Our contest features two contest levels:
Green
Green level problems will be geared to students enrolled in their first programming course and similar in difficulty to problems 1 to 5 in past contests.
Gold
Gold level problems are geared towards students with two years of programming experience and similar in difficulty to problems 4 to 7 in past contests.
Check-in & Orientation
Teams should check in on the third floor of Roger Bacon Hall between 3:00pm and 3:45pm. At 4:00pm there will be a contest meeting in Roger Bacon 202 where contest procedures, hardware, software, and development environments are explained.

Teams will have until 8:30pm to complete as many problems as possible. At 8:30pm, participants will clean up their work areas and then return to Roger Bacon 202 where contest results will be announced and trophies presented to the top three teams in each level.
