As listed in the Information section of this page, I grew up in Poughkeepsie, New York. I attended Poughkeepsie city schools for the majority of my primary education and schools in the Spackenkill school district for the entirety of my secondary education. At Spackenkill High School, my precalculus teacher, Ms. Pupko, inspired me to study mathematics. In , I started attending Siena College as a mathematics major. I enjoy participating in social justice activism and violence prevention education programs at Siena. I work for the Sr. Thea Bowman Center for Women on the peace and nonviolence committee and for the Peer Education and Empowerment Program at Siena (PEEPs). I plan to live and work in Austin, Texas after I graduate from Siena in .
My main goal is to move to Texas after I graduate from Siena in . However, starting next academic year, I hope to begin studying mathematics education at the doctoral level. My fascination with the learning process, specifically in mathematics, has greatly influenced my decision to enter this field. I am currently in the midst of the application process.
