This is my baby. I know its not a picture but i think she is worth a video. I had spent a large chunk of my life building this car from when i was 14 to the present. I feel like I am always tinkering with something under the hood. Undernieth the sleek coat of Habenero Red Metalic Paint, the actual car is quite a Frankenstein. The Core Body of my bird was a 1979 Formula Firebird with Fisher t-tops and a standard transmission. Unfortunately the standard transmission was long gone when i had gotten it and the body of the car was hidden in about an inch thich of bondo. The previous restorer thouroughly believed that bondo would protect the body from rust (NOOOO!!!!!!). However as other cars came in and out of our garage I had taken the parts that i deemed pretty to throw onto my car. After many hours of labor and all of what McDonalds would pay me at the time she became my Red 79 Trans Am. Today she sports a Pontiac 400 mated to a chevy th350 transmission, and I do miss her while im off at college.
Its unfortunate that i don't currently have any decent pictures of my dad's car in it's pressent state as it is the car that had started it all. Its the Car in the background of the video for my own, and is on the left side of the primary image on the home page. I had written a lot about this car in the 'Our History' page but its worth more websites then i will ever be able to write. My dad's Car is a 71 Trans Am made to resemble the car seen in the mobie 'Corevette Summer'. I had grown up writing in this car and my mother will tell you that it is the reason she was married. This car is so fun to drive and take those corners like only a true f-body can. This is my favorite car of all time.
