This car has another amazing story to it. My current project is a 78 z28 camaro originally from California with every option in the book (even cruise control). The best part about it is... I got it for free. I had been eyeing this car since i was into muscle cars. A Friend of mine had it stored in the back of his barn for as long as he could remember, and everytime i would ask about it he would say that 'it was his uncles'. So finally at the time of my friends graduation party, I had met the man whome owned this diamond in the rough i had asked him about it. After going and looking over the car he hadn't seen in a number of years (It was buried in a pile of Junk), i asked him what he wanted for it and he responded saying that it was free. I called up my dad and told him to bring a trailer. It was at my home the next day.
Needless to say this next project car is a 78 Trans Am Smokey and The Bandit replica. Every 2nd Generation F-Body enthusiast needs to have one of these(Kidding). My Dad wanted one of these since he was little and so he decided to use left over parts from the other cars to try and make that happen. We found another shell (Similar to Old Rusty) and threw on it the parts from the other cars to make one complete 78 Trans Am. The T-Tops, Doors, Trunk, Motor, Transmission almost all of it came from the cars that went to the grave. Today its come pretty well along though isn't finished quite yet.
