About Me
My name is Abdul Samad and I'm a CS student currently enrolled as a sophomore in Siena College. I was born in Sargodha, Pakistan. After I graduated from my middle school, in grade 10, my family decided to migrate to America. We came here in 2014 and i got an admission in Watervliet High School in 11th grade. My first year was pretty confusing, trying to adjust between new people and finding new friends took some time but i can proudly say that by the end of junior year I had 1 friend. In my senior year i tried to be more social so i took part in a lot of sports and ended up making a lot of new friends. I played soccer and did track in High School. On a side note, I've only been here for four years so my grammar isn't that good. I hope you understand my English.
I honestly love soccer now. I don't have much time to play in a league or a club but whenever I am free I get together with my friends and we have a little soccer session. I played as a defender in my High School. Our high school team wasn't that great but i had a pretty great time with my team-mates. I tried out for Siena Soccer Club in my freshman year and i was a regular member of the club for fall season. I had to quit it later because of the college work and my job.
I work part time at Subway restaurant in Latham. I been working there for three years now. My friend helped me to get a job there. I do like working there as i get free sandwiches when i am working. My work usually revolves around making sandwiches for customers but i also keep track of inventory and sometimes make schedule for the store.
