This is Emma with her best friend Darby. Darby is only a few months younger than Emma, although you would never know it because Emma is large and low, while Darby is more tall and lean. Emma kicks the crap out of Darby, until she gets tired and has no choice but to rest. Darby is an 8 month old brown lab who is just as energetic as Emma, but less destructive. Darby is currently the only dog we have found who can stand being around Emma for more than 9 minutes. Other dogs usually get tired and have had enough after a while, but Darby keeps Emma on her toes. If I were to compare the two to African wild animals, Darby would be a gazelle and Emma is more of a rhinoceros.
